Pit Leyder (born January 11, 1997 in Bettendorf ) is a former Luxembourg cyclist.
Athletic career
In 2015, Pit Leyder finished tenth in the junior road race at the World Road Championships in Richmond, USA . In 2017 he won the road race at the Games of the Small States of Europe in San Marino . In the following year he finished third in the overall ranking of the Tour of Luxembourg and won the junior ranking.
In June 2018 he was in the three-country Championship in Germany Unna Luxembourg U23 champion in the road race in the championship, he finished fourth. In 2019 he finished seventh in the U23 category at Eschborn – Frankfurt . At the Luxembourg road championships in 2019, he finished third in the road race and in the individual time trial . At the end of the 2019 season, he ended his cycling career at the age of 22: “I don't want to lead such a life in the future,” he justified this step.
