The Pizzo Ruscada is the second highest mountain in the north of the Centovalli in the Ticino Alps . At an altitude of 2,004 meters, it is located in the Swiss canton of Ticino. The Italian border runs about two kilometers to the west.

The ruins of the Alpe di Ruscada, which was formerly cultivated from Italy, lie on a saddle at an altitude of about 1,674 meters.

Ascent

The ascent is possible via the east ridge from Monti di Comino , among other things , and is classified as T3 (challenging mountain hiking) on the SAC hiking scale . The mountain can also be reached via the south ridge, the starting point is Costa.
