Medulitsch started for the first time in February 2010 in the European Cup in Krasnoe Ozero and took two second places. This was followed by further top 10 placements and fourth place in the Aerials discipline of the European Cup. He made his World Cup debut in January 2011 in Mont Gabriel , where he finished 31st. At the 2011 World Championships in Deer Valley , he came in 24th place. In the 2011/12 season he was in the top ten five times in six World Cup competitions. He achieved the first World Cup podium finish in Lake Placid with third place and thus reached 15th place in the Aerials World Cup. The following season he came back on the podium with third place in Lake Placid. At the 2013 World Championships in Voss , he came tenth. After finishing second in Beijing at the beginning of the 2015/16 season, he won his first World Cup victory in Deer Valley and finished 17th in the overall World Cup and third in the Aerials World Cup.
Medulitsch has taken part in 21 World Cup competitions so far and was among the top ten nine times. So far, he has achieved two podium finishes in the European Cup (as of the end of the 2016/17 season).
