Pyotr Petrovich Schilovsky
Pyotr Petrovich Schilowski ( Russian Пётр Петрович Шиловский ; born September 12, 1871 , † June 3, 1957 ) was a Russian count, lawyer, politician and inventor. He was governor of Kostroma (1910-1912) and of the province of Olonez (1912-1913). He became known as the inventor of a two- wheel self - balancing car , which he completed in November 1913. After the October Revolution he emigrated to England , married, had 3 daughters and worked for the Sperry Corporation in Dulwich .
