The Playa El Remanso (from Spanish remamso , backwater ' ) is a beach in the north of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the west side of Cape Shirreff on the northern foothills of the John Paul II Peninsula, it lies between Punta Nacella in the north and Punta Antonio in the south.
Scientists from the 45th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1990–1991) named him.
