Punta Antonio is a headland in the north of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the west side of Cape Shirreff , the northern branch of the John Paul II Peninsula , it separates Playa El Remanso in the north from Playa Aranda in the south.
Chilean scientists named them after Antonio Mazzei Fernández, meteorologist on the Piloto Pardo on the 20th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1965–1966).
