A little later in 1992, the version by KWS followed , which musically sounds almost the same as the version by Double You, but can be assigned to the music genre dance . Since the band KWS forgot to secure the cover rights of Savage (due to the similarity of the melodies), a lawsuit broke out and KWS ultimately had to pay compensation to Savage. The KWS version is said to have been released in honor of the former Nottingham Forest player Des Walker , who was moving to Sampdoria Genoa at the time . In Germany the cover reached number 7, but had to leave the field quickly due to the legal dispute with Savage. It was released on April 27, 1992.
