history
The global company was founded in 1986 and is based in Taipei , Taiwan , and the research and development center is in Shenzhen , China. Plustek has branches in Germany, France, England, USA, Russia, China, Brazil and India. The sales network extends across the entire European Union, North America, Brazil, Russia, Turkey, India, Taiwan, China, United Arab Emirates and Switzerland. With large market shares in the OEM sector as well as with its own brands, the scanner and security technologies are known and used worldwide.
Shortly after the company was founded, the German branch was opened as Plustek Technology GmbH. This European headquarters on the outskirts of Hamburg is the central warehouse and the basis for support, sales and marketing in the neighboring European countries, but above all in the DA-CH area.
