Casimir von Chlapowski Polish: Kazimierz Chłapowski, (* December 24, 1832 in Turew , † March 5, 1916 in Posen ) was the owner of the manor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Casimir von Chlapowski was the son of Dezydery Chłapowski . He attended high school in Poznan and then traveled to England and France to learn practical farming. His estate was in Kopanewo near Choryn . During the Kulturkampf he belonged to the ultramontane camp and organized rallies in Posen, Gnesen and Thorn .

Between 1902 and 1915 he was a member of the Prussian First Chamber and from 1881 to 1887 of the German Reichstag for the Polish parliamentary group and the constituency of Posen 5 Kröben .

With his wife Anna Chłapowską he had four sons and four daughters.
