The Pohlia Falls are striking waterfalls on South Georgia in the South Atlantic . They are located at the head of Husdal on the route between the now dry Gulbrandsen Lake and Husvik Harbor in the Busen region .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013 after the Whitish Pohlmoos ( Pohlia wahlenbergii , also known as Wahlenbergs Pohlmoos ) which is widespread in this area.
