Pole Leurs
Pol Leurs (born September 27, 1947 in Luxembourg ) is a cartoonist known under the pseudonym Poleurs .
He is married and has three grown sons.
Career
Pol Leurs is self-taught and has worked on various Luxembourg magazines, including the Revue from 1975 to 1980, the Forum from 1978 to 1989 and Ons Stad from 1981 to 1983.
Under the title Poleurs CARTOONS 1, 2, 3 and 4 he has so far published four books with selected works by himself .
In 2013 he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in recognition of his artistic work by the Minister of Culture, Octavie Modert.
From 2008 to 2013 he chaired the jury of the Salon International de la Caricature et du Cartoon de Vianden (L). He is Vice President of CartoonArt.lu.
