The Polar Bear Peak is a 2,016 m high mountain in the Chugach Mountains in Alaska .
The mountain is located in Chugach State Park , 22 miles east of Anchorage and 5 miles east of Symphony Lake and Eagle Lake . The South Fork of the Eagle River rises on its western flank.
His name was the Polar Bear Peak in 1963 by members of the Mountaineering Club of Alaska , which is one snowfield from the shape on its northern flank of a polar bear ( English polar bear ) felt remembers.
