The Polaris Peak is a rounded and 970 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Gabbro Hills of the Queen Maud Mountains, it rises 6 km southwest of Mount Roth .
The southern group of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1963-1964) named it after a snowmobile made by the US company Polaris Industries , with which they drove to the top of the mountain.
