Polycarp Friedrich Schacher

Polycarp Friedrich Schacher (* 1715 ; † 1762 ) was a German physician and professor at the University of Leipzig .

He was the son of the Leipzig physician Polycarp Gottlieb Schacher and received his doctorate in 1738. On June 11, 1751 he was elected member ( matriculation no. 570 ) of the Leopoldina with the academic surname Apulejus II .

He inherited the Golden Angel house in Leipzig from his mother.

Jacob Friedrich Schacher was his son.
