Polycaste (daughter of Nestor)

Polycaste ( Greek  Πολυκάστη ) is a person of Greek mythology .

Polycaste is a daughter of Nestor , in Homer Eurydice is given as her mother , in the library of Apollodor, however, Anaxibia . Her siblings are Peisidike , Perseus , Stratichos , Aretos , Peisistratos , Echephron , Antilochus and Thrasymedes .

In Homer it is called the youngest daughter of Nestor, the guests in the Nestor Telemachus prepares the bathroom and dressing him about it. In the later myth she appears as the wife of Telemachus, with whom she has the son Persepolis .

In the Anthologia Palatina Telemachus and Polycaste are referred to as the parents of Homer.
