Peisistratos (son of Nestor)
Peisistratos ( Greek Πεισίστρατος ) is a person from Greek mythology .
Peisistratus is a son of Nestor , when Homer is when his mother Eurydice stated in the Bibliotheke of Apollodor contrast Anaxibia . His siblings are Peisidike , Polycaste , Perseus , Stratichus , Aretus , Echephron , Antilochus and Thrasymedes .
He is the youngest son of Nestor, who is the last to live unmarried in his father's house; as the strongest of the sons, he is the one who kills the animal with an ax during a cow sacrifice in honor of the god Poseidon . As a friend of Telemachus , he accompanies him on his journey from Pylos to Sparta .
After Herodotus , the Athenian tyrant Peisistratos was named after him.
