Pommes-Soko ( Pommes-Sonderkommission ) is the title of a German radio play series with regional references to the Ruhr area , Münsterland and Lower Rhine . The author is Fritz Schaefer (* 1997). The speakers for the series are lay people and celebrities from the region. It is a one-off youth and non-profit project with several adult supporters. Since June 2012, seven episodes with about an hour playing time have been produced, which have been released on CD and as a download.

In terms of content, every episode is based on a criminal case that is characterized by recurring comic elements. Investigators are two youth gangs who meet several times per episode at the chip shop and solve their cases through mutual help. The starting point of the stories is the city of Dorsten because of its proximity to the Ruhr area, Münsterland and Lower Rhine.

For individual episodes, the author and producer Fritz Schaefer also wrote satirical songs, which were published as bonus tracks on the radio play CD.

In 2014, the concept of French fries was first implemented as a live radio play. For the implementation of his radio play series, Fritz Schaefer received the Pathfinder Scholarship from the University of Witten / Herdecke in 2015 .
