David Pfeffer (born April 11, 1982 in Herten ) is a German singer and songwriter . In December 2011, he won the second season of the German version of the singing talent show X Factor .
biography
From August to December 2011, Pfeffer took part in the second season of the German talent show X Factor on VOX . With juror Till Brönner as mentor , he competed in the solo singers category from the age of 25. He won the final on December 6, 2011 against Raffaela Wais and received a recording deal with Sony BMG . The song I'm Here , which Pfeffer sang in the final of the talent show, was released as a single that same day. On December 9th, 2011 his first studio album I Mind was released .
At the end of 2012 Pfeffer began working with producers Dave Anderson ( Sportfreunde Stiller ) and Achim Lindermeir ( Itchy Poopzkid ) on the album Waking Life and Fading Pictures , which was released in October 2013 on Smarten-Up / Rough Trade. In December 2015 he released the album Acoustic Versions ; Cinematic followed in 2017 and Life in Pieces in 2019 . His first German-language album entitled In other words is due to be released in October 2020 .
