The Pont Flavien ( dt Flavian Bridge ) is a stone arch bridge from the time of the Roman Empire over the Touloubre in the village of Saint-Chamas in southern France . Its well-preserved triumphal arches at both entrances are characteristic.

Already around 2000 BC At this point there was a wooden bridge along a road.

According to the inscription on the bridge, Claudius Donnius Flavius, who was a priest of the Roma and Augustus during the Augustan period, built the bridge. The date of construction is about 12 BC. It was estimated when construction began on the Via Julia Augusta , which connected Marseille ( massalia ) with the Étang-de-Berre ( stagnum mastromela ).
