The Pont du Diable ( Catalan: Pont del Diable , German : Devil's Bridge ) or Vieux Pont (German: Old Bridge ) is a single-arched stone bridge from the 14th century in the south of France . The structure spans the Tech River near the town of Céret in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in the Occitania region of southern France .

The bridge was built between 1321 and 1341 and partially rebuilt in the 18th century. With a span of 45.45 m, it has the largest semicircular arch span of a stone bridge of the Middle Ages . The height of the arch rising towards the center is 22.30 m at its apex.

In 1840 the bridge was listed as a monument historique .
