Poon Hill is a 3210 m high mountain near Ghorepani . on the Poon Hill Trek in the  Dhaulagiri Zone of north-central Nepal . Many hikers stay overnight in Ghorepani to watch the sunrise early in the morning and see the mountain panorama.

From Poon Hill you have a comprehensive view of the various peaks of Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and Annapurna (8091 m). You can also see (from left to right) the Tukuche Peak (6920 m), the Dhampus Pass (5250 m), the Dhampus Peak (6012 m), the Nilgiri Central (6940 m), the Hiunchuli (6441 m) and the Machhapuchhre or Fishtail (6993 m). A special feature is that there is a lookout tower, which is otherwise rather rare in Nepal.
