Life

Mariano I. Salusio I is the first known Judike ( Italian : Giudice ) in the Judiciary of Cagliari. It is very likely that there was Judike in Cagliari before him . Mariano I. Salusio I belonged to the Lacon Gunale family .

During his reign, the influence of Pisa and Genoa increased both economically and politically.

Mariano I. Salusio I. died in 1058. He was followed by his son Orzocco Torchitorio as Judike in Cagliari.
