The Poppentiner See is a lake west of Kirch Poppentin, a district of Göhren-Lebbin in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The water has a size of 5.7 hectares and is 77.5 m above sea level. NHN . The maximum size of the lake is 400 meters by 190 meters. The lake has neither tributaries nor an outflow and is located on the eastern edge of a swamp that is drained from the Poppentiner Graben to the Fleesensee . In the direction of Kirch Poppentin, meadows border the lake. The circular ice age route Mecklenburg Lake District also runs there past the Poppentiner See.
