Porno for Pyros was an American rock band that existed between 1993 and 1997. It consisted of Jane's Addiction members Perry Farrell and Stephen Perkins as well as guitarist Peter DiStefano and Dutch bassist Martyn LeNoble .
background
The first release, "Porno for Pyros" , the name of which was a reference to sensational journalism on American television, contained a small hit called "Pets" .
After LeNoble was imprisoned for drug possession during the recording of his second album "Good Gods Urge" , various representatives were hired out of ignorance about his whereabouts. a. Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers and Mike Watt , who also served as tour bassist. However, the sound of the band changed from the groovy rock of the first album to shallower sounds. However, it was not a success with the public, which is why the project was stopped.
