Martyn LeNoble

Martyn LeNoble (actually: Martijn LeNoble, born April 14, 1969 in Vlaardingen ) is a Dutch musician . Among other things, LeNoble played bass in the US rock band Porno for Pyros and was a member of The Cult for a while .

Life

LeNoble began his music career at the age of 14 as a bass player in a Dutch punk rock band. In 1989 he moved to Los Angeles and played with Thelonious Monster and The Too Free Stooges. In 1992 he accompanied Peter DiStefano, Stephen Perkins and Perry Farrell on Porno for Pyros.

In addition to the bass, he also plays other instruments: guitar, keyboard, cello and programming.

During his extensive career, LeNoble has worked on CD productions and has been with artists and bands such as Jane's Addiction , The Cult, Dave Gahan , Mark Lan, Scott Weiland , Mark Lanegan , Soulsavers , Daniel Lanois , Maria McKee , Sarah McLachlan , Layne Staley , Tom Morello , Mike Martt and Josh Klinghoffer on tour. He is currently mainly working on film music for movies and TV series.

In 2008, LeNoble met the American actress Christina Applegate . After LeNoble and Applegate became parents to a daughter in 2011, they married in February 2013.
