Porwanie Baltazara Gąbki ( German : The kidnapping of Baltazar Gąbka ) is a Polish animated series that consists of 13 episodes in one season. The series is based on the book of the same name . The series was produced from 1969 to 1970. 1979–1980 the sequel Wyprawa Profesora Gąbki was produced.

A famous biologist, Baltazar Gąbka, travels to Deszczowców's land to conduct new experiments. The King of Krakow, Krak , is worried about him. He sends the Wawel dragon and the cook Bartolini Bartłomiej on a rescue mission. You drive into the country in an amphibious car . They are followed by the Deszczowców spy Don Pedro.

The series was produced from 1969 to 1970 and broadcast on TVP from around 1969 . A sequel called Wyprawa Profesora Gąbki based on the book Misja Baltazara Gąbki was also produced .
