Positivo Informática SA ( BM&F Bovespa : POSI3 ) is a Brazilian computer manufacturer based in Curitiba in the state of Paraná . The company is listed on the São Paulo Stock Exchange and is part of the larger Grupo Positvo group. Positivo Informática is the market leader in Brazil and, by its own account, the largest computer manufacturer in South America . In the local markets, the company can successfully assert itself against large corporations such as Dell or HP .
The product range includes PCs , notebooks , netbooks , computer monitors and other technical devices. The company is also active outside of Brazil, so Positivo expanded to Argentina and Uruguay at the end of 2010 as part of a joint venture .
