Povilas Mačiulis

Povilas Mačiulis (born November 29, 1986 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian politician, from 2011 to 2018 Vice Mayor of Kaunas Municipality .

Life

After graduating from Kaunas Art High School in 2006 , he studied economics at Kauno technologijos universitetas and design at the Kaunas Faculty of Vilniaus dailės akademija . He is the director of the NGO “Vieningas Kaunas”, “Tavo pramogos”, the association “Laisvės alėjos bendruomenė”; Marketing manager of UAB “Kauno saulėtekis”. From 2011 to September 2018 he was Deputy Mayor of Kaunas, member of the “Vieningas Kaunas” coalition. He resigned because he planned to support former diplomat Vygaudas Ušackas in the 2019 presidential election in Lithuania and to help with the preparatory work, but Ušackas lost in the candidate election of the conservative party TS-LKD (in favor of Ingrida Šimonytė ). Since 2019 he has been an advisor to the mayor of Kaunas, Visvaldas Matijošaitis .

Mačiulis is single.
