Examination regulations (Vocational Training Act)

An examination regulations under the Vocational Training Act is a procedural order, which in general form and content rules for implementing the interim - and final examination in recognized occupations regulated.

However, the training regulations issued for the respective occupation have priority if they contain provisions on this.

The legal basis is the Vocational Training Act (BBiG) and the Crafts Code (HwO). These regulations stipulate that the responsible body (e.g. Chamber of Commerce and Industry , Chamber of Crafts ) has to issue examination regulations for the final or journeyman's examination . The examination regulations are decided by the vocational training committee of the responsible body and approved by the responsible supreme state authority. As a rule, these examination regulations largely correspond to the sample examination regulations adopted by the main committee of the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training .
