Pratap Chandra Chunder

Pratap Chandra Chunder ( 1919 - January 1, 2008 in Calcutta , West Bengal ) was an Indian politician and author. The son of independence activist Nirmal Chander Chunder studied history and law at the University of Calcutta .

In the government of Morarji Desai he was cabinet minister from 1977 to 1980 with duties in the field of education and social affairs.

Chunder wrote historical novels and dramas, including Bubhuksha , Smrtira Alinde , Glimpses of Indian Culture: Ancient and Modern, and Kautilya on Love and Morals .
