Pratchaya Tepparak gained his first international experience at the Junior Asian Championships 2012 in Colombo , where he won the silver medal with 16.25 m. He qualified for the Junior World Championships in Barcelona , where he was eliminated with 15.57 m in qualification. In 2014 he took part for the first time in the Asian Games in Incheon , South Korea , where he finished eleventh with a jump of 15.44 m. The following year he finished fifth at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore with 15.52 m. Two years later he won the bronze medal at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur with 16.37 m. At the beginning of September he also won the silver medal behind the Indian Arpinder Singh at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat with a new national record of 16.12 m . In 2018 he again took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , Indonesia , and achieved fifth place with a new personal best of 16.43 m. The following year he reached fourth place at the Asian Championships in Doha with a jump of 16.27 m. At the beginning of December he reached fourth place with 16.09 m at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas .
In 2012 Tepparak became the Thai triple jump champion.
