Preben Isaksson
Preben Isaksson (born January 22, 1943 in Copenhagen , † December 27, 2008 in Greve ) was a Danish track cyclist .
Preben Isakssons was one of the best Danish track cyclists in the endurance disciplines in the 1960s. Eight times he was Danish champion in single and team pursuit . At the UCI track world championships in Milan in 1962 , he was runner-up in the team pursuit with Kurt vid Stein , Kaj E. Jensen and Bent Hansen . The following year at the World Championships in Rocourt, third with the track four, with Hansen, vid Stein and Leif Larsen . At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 , Isaksson won the bronze medal in the single pursuit. At the UCI track world championships in 1965 he was third in the pursuit.
