Pribislaw II
Pribislav II. , Also Pribislav II. , († after June 21, 1316 ) was a prince from the Parchim-Richenberg line of the House of Mecklenburg . At times he was lord of the country of Belgard .
He was the older son of Pribislaw I , who had lost the rule of Parchim-Richenberg and was lord of the country of Belgard, and a daughter of Richard von Friesack . Pribislaw II had been married to Katharina († after January 1, 1312), a daughter of Mestwin II and Jutta von Wettin-Brehna , from around 1269 . From this marriage a son Mestwin, who died before his father, († after January 1, 1312) and a daughter Lukardis († after June 3, 1362), who became the second wife of Wladislaus von Beuthen and Cosel , was born.
From 1276/1277 Pribislaw II was lord of the country of Belgard. He initially had the land as a fief of Duke Barnim I of Pomerania. After the Peace of Vierraden in 1284, the Brandenburg margraves received lien over the country Belgard and the country Daber and Welschenburg, but enfeoffed Pribislaw II and his relatives with it. But in 1288 Duke Bogislaw IV took possession of the country.
In 1289 Pribislaw II donated 200 Hufen Land to the Bukow Monastery , and in 1312 he pledged Lake Malsche near Preußisch Stargard to the Teutonic Order . In 1313 he took part in the battle of Stralsund am Hainholz.
With Pribislaw II, the Parchim-Richenberg line of the House of Mecklenburg became extinct in the male line.
