Pricasso (* 1949 or 1950 ), real name Timothy James Francis Patch , short form Tim Patch , is an Australian performance artist.

Career

Patch is from the UK . He first went to a school in the Chichester district , but then moved to the Bembridge School on the Isle of Wight . He then studied furniture design at Portsmouth College of Art and the Royal West of England Academy and later worked as a construction worker. He was interested in painting and graphics, but did not pass an entrance exam at an art academy. In 1977 Patch emigrated to Australia.

Around 2005, Patch had the idea of ​​"penis painting". Through internet research he discovered that people painted with hands, feet, mouth or - as in action painting - with their whole body. He also discovered a “ niche in the market ” and began to specialize in painting pictures with the help of his sexual organ. The artist name Pricasso , a suitcase word from the English word prick ( vulgar language for penis ) and Picasso , was given by Patch in 2006.

Pricasso gained fame through the Australian erotic fair Sexpo . The prices for his “portraits”, which he paints in about 15 minutes, are in the range of 300 and 1000 US dollars. In Germany he became known, among other things, through an appearance as Timothy Patch in the fourth season of the television program Das Supertalent .

Patch lives in Brisbane and is the father of four children. He was married twice.

Patch paints on canvas and paper with water-soluble acrylic paint. Instead of a brush , he essentially uses his penis, scrotum and buttocks .

Pricasso's work includes portraits, nudes, and landscape painting.
