The Prinzenpark is a 2.6  hectare city ​​park in the Upper Bavarian Karlsfeld in the district of Dachau .

location

The park is located 12.8 km northwest of the center of Munich in the Dachauer Moos at an altitude of 495  m above sea level. NN . It is bordered to the south and north by terraced houses , to the west the corridor opens generously to the Allacher Weide and Hadinger Schrot . In the north-east there is a building block with around 250 senior-friendly apartments. The park covers about 2.6 hectares. Construction began after exploratory work for possible old armaments.

The park contains an approximately 2,700 m² large Himmelsteich , an open-cast mine from earlier gravel quarrying, which is likely to be hydrologically connected to the Würm flowing 400 m to the east via the groundwater .

There is also a playground and a table tennis table. A former overburden dump is used as a toboggan hill with a viewing platform and closes off the park to the west.
