The Pritschroda estate belongs to the municipality of Freienorla in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia .
geography
On a higher level opposite Orlamünde between the Orla and Saale valleys, Pritschroda lies east of Freienorla. The estate can be reached from Freienorla via a connecting road. The plateau is surrounded by forest.
history
From 1083 to February 16, 1084, the first documentary mention is proven. It has been an agricultural estate for 1,000 years, then it became a GDR youth hostel. Now it is a school farm with holiday guests, trail riding and a farm with lots of animals.
