The H. Egerer private brewery is a brewery in the Großköllnbach district of Pilsting in Lower Bavaria . With a beverage production volume of 310,000 to 700,000 hectoliters per year, depending on the source, the private brewery Egerer is Lower Bavaria's largest beverage manufacturer. The annual output of beers in 2002 was around 50,000 hectoliters, in 2008 around 60,000 hectoliters.

history

The brewery was founded in 1919 by Wilhelm Egerer. Heinrich Egerer, the founder's son, took over the company that bottled only soft drinks and bottled water at this time, in the year 1929. 1931 acquired Heinrich Egerer the right to brew beer and brewing beer for the first time at the site. The following year, the company began delivering lemonade to private households by truck as a Grokj home delivery service . In 1973 the private brewery was already supplying 40,000 households with 50 different types of beverages from six depots. In the early 2000s, Grokj-Getränke-Heimdienst had over 100 trucks that supplied around 50,000 regular customers per week from the company's headquarters in Großköllnbach and eight other branches. The variety of varieties had meanwhile grown to 80 different products. In 2008, the private brewery H. Egerer with mineral well operation had 220 employees and a total output of 680,000 hectoliters of beverages in over 140 different types.
