Private Eye ( English for private detective ) is a satirical magazine published in London .
Founders were Richard Ingrams, Willie Rushton, Peter Usborne, Christopher Booker and Andrew Osmond after graduating. For the most part, the magazine is enigmatic and requires a certain general education , which does not prevent its nationwide popularity .
Their front pages , which are often provided with speech bubbles , are typical , and nothing is safe from being ridiculed , e.g. B. the mourning for Princess Diana not. Private Eye and The Guardian created the Paul Foot Award , which recognizes investigative journalism . Winners include journalists from newspapers any position of regional newspapers over tabloids up to the Times .
