The private college Döpfer for physiotherapy and occupational therapy (University of Applied Sciences) was a private college in Schwandorf (Bayern).

History and organization

The approval of the private Döpfer University of Applied Sciences was valid since July 5th, 2002 and was granted by the Bavarian State Ministry for Science, Research and Art . President was Hubert Döpfer.

In accordance with the study and examination regulations since October 1, 2003, the course comprised six or eight theoretical semesters including a part-time job accompanying the course. The standard period of study was six semesters in the courses with a focus on management , education and evidence-based medicine . A qualification to become a Tuina therapist ( traditional Chinese medicine with a technical college certificate) was offered.
