The PRODEX is an international trade fair for machine tools , tools and production measurement. The Prodex has been held every two years in the Swiss city ​​of Basel since 2002 . The organizer is Exhibit & More AG.

The event is organized in cooperation with the industry associations Swissmem and tecnoswiss. In Halls 1.0, 1.1 and 5.0 of the Basel Exhibition Center, PRODEX displays the global range in a compact format. The exhibitors are not grouped thematically by product, but present themselves in terms of process chains. This enables machining processes to be represented.

Prodex Award

At the fair, international achievements are honored with a Swiss prize in the field of manufacturing and production. A jury sifts through the application dossiers and checks their quality. The evaluation criteria are: novelty and originality of the idea, quality of the practical implementation and market potential. Ten companies are nominated for the award. The jury is made up of personalities from the Swiss technology scene. The award ceremony takes place on the Prodex exhibitor evening. So far, the award has been presented three times.
