The Projection Peak is a 1,475 m high mountain in the Denton Hills of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises above the head of the Garwood Glacier on the southwestern extension of Hobbs Ridge .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1993 based on the names of the Bonne , Cassini and Mollweide glaciers , the names of which stand for different types of map projections .
