The Prospect Mesa is a low table mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Olympus Range it rises below the Bull Pass on the north side of the Wright Valley .
The New Zealand geologists Colin George Vucetich (1918-2007) and Wayne W. Topping (* 1947) named him in the course of a 1969 to 1970 campaign of Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions . It is named after the prospect formation of the late Miocene and early Pliocene that dominates here .
