The Prospero Verlag, Münster and Berlin was a 2009 by Tom van Endert established and John Monse publisher based in Münster and Berlin. He was an independent imprint publisher of the Monsenstein and Vannerdat OHG publishing house , which ceased operations in 2016, and was one of the independent publishers . Johannes Monse and Britta Kamp were in charge of the publishing house.

In 2011, Prospero Verlag initiated the literary initiative “Window to the East”, which aimed to bring German readers closer to fictional works and the culture of Eastern European countries. She was supported by the Croatian Ministry of Culture and the Polish Book Institute.
