Prosymna ( Greek Πρόσυμνα ( f. Sg. )) Is the name of a small modern place in the municipality of Mykines in Argolida , Greece , in the vicinity of which numerous graves from the Mycenaean period were discovered. The place was called Berbati until the beginning of the 20th century and was then renamed after the ancient site Prosymna , which, however, was 6 km west on the other side of Mount Evia. To avoid confusion, archaeologists continue to call the site Berbati.
