The Prydz Channel ( English ) is a deep sea channel in Prydz Bay in East Antarctica . It runs at a depth of 500 m below sea level from the continental slope to the Amery Basin between the Fram Bank and the Four Ladies Bank .

The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1991 based on the name of the bay of the same name. It is named after Olaf Petter Blankenborg Prydz (1882–1951), head of Hvalfangernes Assuranceforening (whaling insurance) in Sandefjord, Norway .
