Pseudorhipsalis horichii is a species of plant in the genus Pseudorhipsalis from the cactus family(Cactaceae).

description

Pseudorhipsalis horichii grows semi-upright with fleshy, green shoots . The main shoots are round at the base, up to 15 centimeters (or more) long and 4 millimeters wide. The flat, linear to lanceolate, tapered side shoots appear in two rows from the base of the main shoots. They are 1 to 3 inches long and 2 to 4 millimeters wide.

The usually single appearing, wheel-shaped flowers are cream to pink and less than 15 millimeters long. The reddish fruits, which are slightly compressed at the sides, become 6 millimeters long.

Distribution and systematics

Pseudorhipsalis horichii is common in Costa Rica . The first description as Disocactus horichii was published in 1979 by Myron William Kimnach . Wilhelm Barthlott placed the species in 1991 in the genus Pseudorhipsalis .
