Psi Ursae Majoris (ψ UMa / ψ Ursae Majoris) is a star in the constellation Great Bear .

In traditional Chinese astronomy, the star was called "Ta Tsun", which translates as "the wine barrel". Wasat , a star in the constellation Gemini , also had this name.

The orange giant star belongs to the spectral class K1III and has an apparent magnitude of +3.0 mag. It is approximately 145 light years from Earth .
