Pterostichini is a tribe from the subfamily Harpalinae of the ground beetles (Carabidae).

features

The penultimate link of the lip switch has only two bristles on the inside. There are two supraorbital bristles on the head . There is no bristle in the marginal furrow of the upper jaw. The end links of the jaw buttons are inserted centrally. Usually the antennae are pubescent from the 4th, more rarely from the 3rd. The first three limbs of the anterior tarsi of the males are widened. At the back of the breast a seam separates the episters and epimers.
