Publio Rodríguez Moslares
Publio Rodríguez Moslares OMI (born November 12, 1912 in Tiedra , † November 28, 1936 in Paracuellos de Jarama ) was a Spanish Oblate of the Immaculate Virgin Mary .
After the monastery in Pozuelo was occupied by armed militias in the course of the Spanish Civil War on July 22, 1936 and Publio Rodríguez Moslares was taken away from there with his confreres, he was initially released. However, he was arrested again and executed on November 28 of that year along with twelve of his confreres.
The beatification of the 22 Spanish martyrs of the Oblates, including Publio Rodríguez Moslares, took place on December 17, 2011 in the Cathedral of Madrid.
