Publius Cornelius Scipio Nasica Corculum
Publius Cornelius Scipio Nasica Corculum was a Republican politician, lawyer, and senator .
Scipio was the son of Nasica . After he died in 169 BC Had held the office of curular aedile , he was 165 BC. BC Praetor . He was 162 and 155 BC. Chr. Consul , 159 v. BC Censor , 150 BC BC Pontifex Maximus , 147 and 142 BC BC Princeps senatus . He is said to have been an outspoken expert on civil and sacred law . In his second consulate he subjugated the Delmats (see Dalmatia ). As an opponent of Catos , he opposed the destruction of Carthage .
His son was Publius Cornelius Scipio Nasica Serapio .
